At the time of former President Rody Duterte (mid-July to mid-2022), we campaigned for the Filipinos to know about this patriotic-sounding dictator of Venezuela. Now, December of 2025, he is terrified of losing it all, and he’s going to fall from power, hard. He didn’t realize — that if Chairman Mao Zedong of China could purge very close allies and friends, and those revolutionaries who catapulted (and help keep) him to power as dictator-ruler, were later purged, imprisoned in very bad conditions until death, or outright murdered in great acts of betrayal — that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) of China would easily abandon him the moment he became expendable.
Revelation: These are posts, below, in our Facebook, over the years, to warn what could happen to those who think they have a mighty CCP-China to back them up all the way and for life after committing very atrocious, monstrous crimes that the communists consented by way of financial, political, election and business and investments support. This was part of our campaign to help save lives, actually. And that by calling attention to information, and by educating advisers and operatives of top officials, that CCP-China would not and could not guarantee a lifetime of impunity for rogue and murderous programs, especially as CCP-China also engages in similar programs against its very own citizens.
For perspective, the Facebook posts I made below were during a period when it was quite dangerous to publicly go against the interests of CCP-China in the Philippines then, mid-2016 to mid-2022, also a time period when opinions of the Filipinos about China was at its highest in decades and favorable opinion of mainstream Filipinos of the U.S. was rather dented. Rian and I created the simple informational info-graphics in low-end branded tablets and phones, contending with very slow internet that made it difficult to securely log in and post in our Facebook accounts. Academic-level accuracy was not my objective, only reasonable comparative information and facts when making the kinds of simple info-graphics I wanted to inform the readers about. Most certainly, I hated “Likes” and discouraged readers from clicking that button. Our target readers were of varying backgrounds, from simple street folks to top government advisers and operatives of public officials, to civil society leaders. As with my other posts and articles, please keep in mind that the same with our anti-CCP-China articles and posts, these were during the time period when there was a dearth of info online accessible to mainstream and common Filipinos, with issues we tackled being far from being mainstream then.
When its the rulers themselves, the country’s top officials, worse if they’re dictators, either support or mastermind transnational organized crime operations, it becomes a geopolitical dilemma. It’s an entire country that becomes a criminal-state, or at least with a criminal government.
